"Two works by Miami City's resident choreographer, Gamonet de los Heros, were like big gulps of fresh air. In Nous Sommes the dancers break through the separate spheres, which they inhabit in more classical work. If "Diamonds" is about courtly love, Nous Sommes is about sensual love - While Nous Sommes emphasized gorgeous, curving floorwork and balances, a suite from Gamonet de Los Heros' Transtangos worked with gravity in other ways - Set to music by Astor Piazzolla, which created the same sizzling atmosphere that did for Paul Taylor's "Piazzolla Caldera" during week two at the Jacobs Pillow."
